WHY IS THERAPY SO EXPENSIVE?

Therapy is an investment — not just in time, but in care backed by years of training and oversight. I’m transparent about fees and offer limited sliding scale spots or help with superbills for reimbursement. Your mental health matters, and I want care to feel accessible.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN OUR FIRST SESSION?

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about your history, what’s bringing you in, and what goals you have for therapy. You’re welcome to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to “have it all figured out.”

HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?

Most clients start with weekly sessions, but we can adjust frequency based on your goals, availability, and what feels right for you.

HOW LONG IS A SESSION?

Sessions typically last around 50 minutes, giving us time to talk through what’s on your mind, explore patterns, and work toward your goals at a steady pace.

DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON OR VIRTUAL SESSIONS?

At this time, sessions are offered virtually. Plans are underway to establish an in-person practice location in the Orange County area. Further details will be provided once available.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

I am a cash-pay provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan. I'm also exploring services that help simplify this process and am happy to guide you along the way.

IS EVERYTHING I SHARE CONFIDENTIAL?

Yes, your privacy is a top priority. What you share in therapy is kept confidential, with a few legal exceptions—such as situations involving harm to yourself or others. These guidelines will be reviewed in detail during your intake.

HOW DO I KNOW IF THERAPY IS WORKING?

Progress varies from person to person. You may begin to experience greater emotional regulation, shifts in how you respond to situations, or increased awareness of longstanding patterns. We’ll routinely check in to assess how you’re feeling about the therapeutic process.
